In stating the obvious, it has been a difficult year, please take a moment to reflect and remember those much valued friends/members whom have passed,
Colm Kincaid , Sean Weadick, & sadly today Sun 20th Dec Una Farrell. May all our deceased members Rest in Peace.

You will no doubt appreciate that “Group Text” is fine for short messages, however expensive.
Financial Report : Our Hon Treasurer ( Pat Travers ) has increased the insurance cover on our club buildings, to include our new extension,
It Was 1050 Euro approx, now 1250/1300 Euro approx (this was approved by Executive Committee ).
Regards remaining work on extension
we are in contact with S.D.C.C. and Cabinpak RE, required legislation (2020) for access, (ie) simple step/hand rail, or wheelchair access (ramp).
Cabinpak are in contact with their subcontractor who provide this service RE design & pricing.
Covid has affected all our lives, physical & mental wellbeing, who would have thought that in losing the Summer BLI leagues and championships we have also lost the AWBA leagues (confirmed).
IAW our club constitution our AGM was scheduled for the end Oct, (cancelled due to Covid),
members are “RESPECTFULLY” asked to renew their membership by end Nov,
we allow to end Dec normally a member would have to reapply after this date
we will “NOT” rigorously endorse these rules ( this year ) under the circumstances,
however may I urge/request members intending to stay, to forward cheque or arrange an appointment (@ club) with myself, for payment. Note membership has remained @: 100 Euro P.A. (ie) ( 1.92 Euro P/P P.WK. ) single. 150 Euro P.A. (ie) ( 1.44 Euro P/P P.WK )for a couple
You will no doubt agree ( EXCELLENT VALUE ) for the facilities provided.
It is v/important for the Committee to gauge the effects of Covid on our membership. ASAP.
Last year we had 75 members (approx). so far this year we have 27 Gents/19 Ladies. (total paid 46).
Our playing surface installed/opened 2008/ 2009 has served us well, however we will need to replace in the
( near ) future. This could be a 3/5 yr project (guess). Kenilworth/Herbert Park new surfaces.

Folks, it is difficult to project forward into 2021 RE : Gov/Nphet Covid/Vaccine Timeframes, new UK strain, BLI/LBLI, leagues/competitions,
we should try to remain positive and look to a better 2021.
Covid directives can change so quickly.
Although we have no Christmas function this year to come together and celebrate,
I have made a “PROVISIONAL” booking for Sat 18th Dec 2021,
remember that great 10th year celebration night we had last year, were we not lucky that it fell in Dec 2019 & not this year.
